Detectives have charged the man arrested in connection with the discharge of a firearm in the Mountain View area Sunday afternoon (Sept. 29).

At 1:55 p.m. Monday (Sept. 30), detectives charged Falaniko N. Himphill of Mountain View with first-degree terroristic threatening, second-degree reckless endangering and ownership prohibited.

He is being held at the Hilo police cellblock in lieu of $21,000 bail pending an initial court appearance scheduled for Tuesday (Oct. 1).
