Kaâ€˜u brush fire extinguished

Firefighters continued knocking out a brush fire in Kaâ€˜u for the second day on Tuesday. The fire is now extinguished.

Crew monitored the perimeter and smothered hot spots in the area near Upper Cane Haul Road where nearly 8 acres burned.

No structures were damaged and no one was injured.
