MEDIA RELEASE
More than 200 Hawaii teams came to the Neil Blaisdell Center last weekend to compete and showcase their robots in the 2012 Hawaii FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Championships.
During the 2012 season, FLL teams were tasked to improve the quality of life for seniors by helping them continue to be independent, engaged, and connected to the communities.
The teams needed to find a senior partner, identify and learn about a problem faced by seniors, create an innovative solution to the identified problem, and share their problem and solution with others.
The teams must also design, build, test, and program an autonomous robot to accomplish the Challenge mission on the field.
