A 25 acre brushfire at Yee Hop Ranch which started Friday is contained to a kipuka with lava flows on three side and a firebreak on Saturday (Dec 26).

Hawaii County firefighters and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park personnel are extinguishing hot spots along the makai firebreak side. The burn area will be monitored by the land owner.
