County vehicle registration and license services suspended in Kona & Waimea

The Finance Department reports that Vehicle Registration and Driver’s License Services are not available in Waimea and at the West Hawaii Civic Center until further notice due to severed cables by falling trees. Services are available in Hilo and Pahoa. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as we restore services.

Police arrest and charge boy on outstanding warrant

On, (September 25), Detectives of the Area II Juvenile Aid Section, (JAS), in collaboration with Vice, executed a Search Warrant to a property on the 65-1300 block of Paepuu Place in Kamuela. During the search, Officers arrested and charged a juvenile male wanted on an outstanding APB and Bench Warrant.
