The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a High Surf Warning for the South facing shores of all Hawaiian islands. The warning is in effect until 6 a.m. Wenesday (Aug 31).

Surf of 10 to 15 feet is forecast to peak today and tonight then lower to advisory levels on Wednesday. The high surf will cause hazardous conditions for beachgoers due to dangerous rip currents, beach erosion and shore breaks. Boaters should use caution at the entrances to small boat harbors.
