On February 2nd to February 18, the Highway Maintenance division is scheduled to resurface Māmalahoa Highway from the Keopu Channel to the HELCO Keopu substation, between Mile Marker 6 and Mile Marker 8. Alternate lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 8:30 AM and 3:30 PM. Plan on delays.

Bayfront Highway will close tonight (July 10) between the hours of 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Nighttime construction work will begin at Kamehameha Avenue and Pauahi Street intersection, weather permitting. The night work schedule is Monday-Friday to July 25. Bayfront Highway at Pauahi St. intersection will close during nighttime construction.

Ka‘ahakini Stream Bridge on Old Māmalahoa Highway in Hakalau along the Hāmākua Coast will be closed to reinforce the support beams on April 22, weather permitting.
