The county Department of Environmental Management will begin collecting residential e-waste Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.

Free e-waste collection will take place on a rotating basis at four island transfer stations on Saturdays beginning at the Waiohinu Recycling and Transfer Station this Saturday. E-waste collection will continue at the Waiohinu Transfer Station on the first Saturday of each month thereafter.
