Military convoys scheduled from Kawaihae to PTA January 15 & 17

Soldiers from the 728th Military Police Battalion and Marines from VMU-3 are scheduled to convoy from Kawaihae Docks to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) Jan. 15 and 17, 2018. The convoy are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on both days and should be completed by no later than 3:30 p.m.

Military convoys scheduled from Pōhakuloa to Kawaihae Nov 27 and 29, 2017

Soldiers from the 2-6th Cavalry Regiment are scheduled to convoy from Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) to Kawaihae Docks Nov. 27 and 29. The convoys are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. Nov. 27, and to start at 9 a.m. Nov. 29. On both dates, all convoys should be completed by no later than 3:30 p.m.

Soldiers from the 2nd Squadron, 6th Cavalry Regiment are scheduled to convoy from Kawaihae Docks to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) Nov. 7 and 9. The convoys are scheduled to start at 8 a.m. and finish by 3:30 p.m. each day.

Military convoys scheduled between Kawaihae and PTA, August 11-14, 2017

Oahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy from the Kawaihae Docks to Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA), Aug. 11-14, between 9 a.m. and noon, in support of training. The convoys will be escorted by marked vehicles with rotating amber lights and signs. Motorists are asked to be alert and drive with care around convoy vehicles.

Crash on Daniel K. Inouye Highway shuts down highway and leaves two in serious condition

Fire/rescue crews from Hawaii County and Pohakuloa Training Area responded to a 4:46 p.m. alarm to Daniel K. Inouye Highway near the Mauna Kea Access Road intersection for a crash.
