The Napau wildfire which started from the Kamoamoa Fissure Eruption remains uncontained and has grown to approximately 1,924 arcres as of Monday (March 21).

The fire has slowed due to rain in the area but continues to be fed by heat from the lava flow and high winds pushing the fire makai. The fire is located approximately seven miles Southeast of the Kilauea Visitor's Center.
