Kailua-Kona Public Library will change the Tuesday hours for its public service schedule beginning on November 3, 2009. The Library’s Tuesday hours will be noon to 7 p.m. instead of 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Laupahoehoe Public & School Library will discontinue its Passport Application Acceptance Service, effective Saturday, October 31, 2009, in order for staff to focus on providing core library services to patrons. Another Big Island library, the Kealakekua Public Library, also discontinued its passport application acceptance service last week.
