EPA reaches agreement with Kamehameha Schools to conduct cesspool audits

Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Kamehameha Schools (KS) announced a landmark agreement in which KS will audit over 3,000 properties spanning more than 365,000 acres to identify and close large-capacity cesspools (LCCs).

Hilo native Mills named as Kamehameha Schools’ trustee

The state Probate Court has selected Elliot Mills as the newest member of the Kamehameha Schools Board of Trustees. The vice president of operations for Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, and Disneyland Resort replaces former Trustee Janeen-Ann Olds and will begin his term on October 1, 2017.

The Kamehameha Schools K-12 program applications for the Kapālama, Hawai‘i and Maui campuses, and for the Kipona K-12 Scholarship program, for the 2018-19 school year, are now available online at www.ksbe.edu/admissions. The deadline to apply is September 30, 2017.
