Girls in the HI-PAL volleyball league.

Seven teams compete in HI-PAL volleyball league

Sixty-six girls from seven teams participated in the 2015 HI-PAL Girls Volleyball League from April 2 through May 28. Games were held on Thursday nights at the Hilo Armory. Teams included girls from Hi Intensity, Keaukaha Cuzins, Haili Jrs. 17s, Haili Jrs. 18s, Canefire, Piopio Bears Paʻani Pono and Piopio Bears Ku Ikaika.

HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” intermediate and high school basketball championship results

The Hawaiʻi Isle Police Activities League partnered with the Andrews Basketball Association and Waiākea Intermediate REACH program, and 107 youths from 10 teams participated in the HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” basketball high school and intermediate school championships this past weekend at Andrews Gym.

One-hundred seventy-two youths from 25 teams participated in the HI-PAL Panaʻewa Benefit “Click It or Ticket” Basketball Championships this past weekend at Panaʻewa Park.

In the 10-and-under division, NSP claimed the title, Andrews Hawks were runners-up and Fly Girls finished third.

Results of the HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” basketball tournament

More than 250 youths from 29 teams participated in the HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” elementary and intermediate basketball leagues, which ran from February through April with games at Andrews Gym, Carvalho Park and Pāpaʻikou Gym. Waiākea Titans Gold and Keaʻau Green both finished the intermediate league with unblemished 8-0 records.
