The Hawai'i Police Department is cautioning the public to be aware of athletes training for the Ironman Triathlon, which is scheduled for October 10.

"Please be aware that bicyclists and runners will be training along West Hawaii roads--especially between Hawi and Kailua-Kona--between now and the date of the event," said Captain Chad Basque. "We ask you to exercise caution and show your aloha."
