A High Surf Advisory is in effect until 6 p.m. Friday (Dec 2) for Hawaii Island east facing shores along south, north and east coasts. Surf in the 6-10 foot range is forecast. The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Hawaii Island summits from Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
