Hawaii Public Radio HPR-2 channel to begin East Hawaii broadcasts Wednesday (Oct 26)

HawaiÊ»i Public Radio announces the launch of its HPR-2 channel on 91.3FM on the east side of HawaiÊ»i island. The estimated sign-on date is Wednesday, October 26, after 12 noon. This marks the completion of the nonprofit station’s long-held goal of a radio network spanning the major Hawaiian islands with both of its programming streams.

Military convoys in East and West Hawaii June 28-29, 2016

Service members are scheduled to convoy from Pōhakuloa Training Area (PTA) to Keaukaha Military Reservation, in Hilo, Tuesday and Wednesday. Oahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy from Pohakuloa Training Area (PTA) to Kawaihae Harbor, Tuesday and Wednesday. The anticipated convoy times are from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
