The Department of Water Supply (DWS) reports the water main break near Papa’ikou Gym has been repaired. Papa‘ikou residents and customers from Maluna Place, and north along Old Mamalahoa Highway, including all side roads, should have water restored.

UPDATE: Water main break forces closure of Waiakeawaena Elementary School Thursday (Oct 18)

The Department of Water Supply reports that repairs are complete for the water line break in Waiakea and the system is refilling. Customers may notice air in the system and milky appearance that will clear as the system returns to normal. The water is safe and crews will continue to monitor the system.
