Military convoys from Kawaihae to Pohakuloa, beginning Saturday (Aug 8)

Oahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy from Kawaihae Harbor to Pohakuloa Training Area, Aug. 8-12, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. PTA will not be open to hunting this weekend (Aug 8-9) due to scheduled military training and range maintenance.

Military convoys to travel between PTA and Hilo

Oahu-based service members will convoy between Pōhakuloa Training Area and Keaukaha Military Reservation, beginning March 4. Convoys will travel from PTA to KMR, March 4, 5 and 8, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Convoys will travel from KMR to PTA, March 5 and 7, between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Oahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy between Kawaihae Harbor and Pōhakuloa Training Area, Feb. 23-28, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Convoys will travel from PTA to Kawaihae, Feb. 23-24. Convoys will also travel from Kawaihae to PTA, Feb. 24-28. Military police will escort the convoys.

Inouye Highway, Mamalahoa Highway, Waikoloa Road, Queen Kaahumanu and Akoni Pule Corridor. Military police will support the convoys.

Oahu-based service members are scheduled to convoy between Keaukaha Military Reservation (Hilo) and Pōhakuloa Training Area, beginning Tuesday. Convoys will travel from KMR to PTA Sept. 23, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., and will return from PTA to KMR Sept. 25, between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
