According to the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center there was an earthquake of 6.6 magnitude at the Chile-Bolivia boarder region at 6:36 a.m. HST Monday (June 20).

Based upon all data a destructive pacific-wide tsunami is not expected and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii.

6.5 magnitude earthquake hits Chile and Bolivia, no tsunami threat to Hawaii
