Hawaiʻi Island police have located 20-year-old Keanu K. Krause of Kurtistown, who was wanted for burglary. He was arrested in Mountain View Thursday afternoon (November 3) on suspicion of burglary and theft for a burglary that occurred sometime between August 24 and August 25 at a farm warehouse on Ranch Road in Keaʻau.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking the public for help with information about a burglary at a church on Kupulau Road in Hilo.

Sometime between 11 a.m Sunday (September 18) and 7 a.m. Monday (September 19), unknown persons broke into the New Hope Christian Fellowship and removed miscellaneous tools and equipment.

Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating a burglary at a storage building in Punaluʻu.

Sometime between July 2 and July 7, the O Kaʻū Kakou storage building on Alanui Road was forcibly entered and several items were removed. Among the items taken were four 20-foot by 20-foot gray heavy-duty canvases along with metal fittings painted red, blue and yellow. Also removed were six 10-foot by 10-foot pop-up tents with painted yellow markings and the letters “OKK” on the tent legs.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in providing information about a burglary in Honokaʻa on March 27.

The break-in occurred at a home on the 45-300 block of Lehua Street, which is in the Haina Camp area, sometime between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m. on that date.

The items stolen included electronics, power tools, silver dollar coins, a Booker T. Washington 50-cent piece and a black Cordoba electric guitar with abalone shell around the sound hole.
