The 23rd Annual Vulcans-Hawaii Baseball School will run from Tuesday, June 1 through Friday, June 4 on the University of Hawaii at Hilo Baseball and Softball Field.

For ball players ages 5-12, the daily schedule runs from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

The camp will emphasize fielding, hitting, throwing, pitching and running through station work, video taping, scrimmages and large and small group clinics. Participants need to supply own equipment and be ready to play.

Big innings were the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s downfall as they dropped a Pacific West Conference twinbill to Hawaii Pacific University, 9-3 and 8-7, on the Hans L’Orange Field in Waipahu, HI.

The Vulcans are 15-24 overall and 10-18 in the PacWest while the Sea Warriors are 32-10 overall and 24-4 in the PacWest.

Kekoa Lee has been selected the Pacific West Conference Pitcher of the Week as announced by the PacWest Commissioner's Office.

The junior southpaw posted a 1.29 earned run average and struck out 11 batters in 5-1 win over Dixie State on April 13. He tossed a complete, seven-inning game, allowed one earned run on four hits and allowed one extra-base hit - a double. Dixie State managed to hit just .167.
