The Hawaiʻi Isle Police Activities League partnered with the Andrews Basketball Association and Waiākea Intermediate REACH program, and 107 youths from 10 teams participated in the HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” basketball high school and intermediate school championships this past weekend at Andrews Gym.

Results of the HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” basketball tournament

More than 250 youths from 29 teams participated in the HI-PAL “Click It or Ticket” elementary and intermediate basketball leagues, which ran from February through April with games at Andrews Gym, Carvalho Park and Pāpaʻikou Gym. Waiākea Titans Gold and Keaʻau Green both finished the intermediate league with unblemished 8-0 records.

HI-PAL is seeking teams interested in playing in “Click It or Ticket” 5-on-5 basketball tournaments August 30-31 at Pāpaʻikou Gym and September 12-14 at Waiākea Uka Gym. Both 5-6 division and 7-8 division teams are being sought for the August tournament.
