Fire burns Puna home early Wednesday morning, no injuries reported

Fire/rescue crews answered a 12:42 a.m. alarm Wednesday (April 11) to 15-2755 Opihi St. in Puna for a structure fire.

Firefighters found a single-story home with a pickup truck, garage, and kitchen engulfed in flames. Crews had the blaze under control by 1:05 a.m. and it was out by 1:15 a.m.

There were no occupants in the home at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
