Police seek info regarding damage to truck parked at beach park

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help for any witnesses or information relative to an incident that occurred on Thursday, (August 24), at 5:40 p.m., along the west side fishpond rock wall of the James Kealoha Beach Park, (4 Miles Beach Park). A white Ford truck that was parked along the wall was severely damaged by two females. The two females and a male accompanying them also threatened the owner, who was present.

Anyone who may have information about this incident is asked to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Aaron Kaeo of the South Hilo Patrol at (808) 961-2203.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
