Firefighters had the blaze under control by 10:50 p.m. and it was reported to be out at 12:20 a.m. Sunday (Nov 20). Crews had a difficult time putting out the fire due to the collapse of the roof, wall and floor along with fire in a storage area under the house.

The home was reported to be destroyed with a total loss at $118,000. The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Red Cross is assisting the resident displaced by the fire.
