First Hawaiian Bank PrimeTime Wellness Fair Friday (Oct 14) in Hilo

If your life’s milestone is to live a healthy lifestyle, then head on down to the First Hawaiian Bank Big Island PrimeTime Wellness Fair featuring 47 exhibitor booths with the latest trends and information resources for those interested in improving their personal health and well-being.

WHAT: First Hawaiian Bank PrimeTime Wellness Fair
WHEN: Friday, October 14, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: Edith Kanakaole Stadium, ­­­­­350 Kalanikoa Street, Hilo, Hawaii
NO COST: Admission is free and open to the general public

First Hawaiian Bank sponsors this wellness event as a community service to Big Island residents and visitors.

Nine new vendors have been added this year including the restaurant WikiFRESH offering healthy food options and a cooking demonstration at the event. Also new to the event is Soderholm Bus & Mobility providing information on handicap accessible vehicles and mobility upgrades for vehicles.

Free health screenings for glucose and cholesterol will also be available. Flu immunization shots and pneumonia vaccinations will be available courtesy of Walgreens with most insurance plans accepted including Medicare Part B and D plans. Current insurance member card(s) and state photo ID required.

Door prize drawings, games, and live entertainment will be scheduled throughout the fair including a Pedestrian Safety Tips Fashion Show by Walk Wise Hawaii demonstrating ways in which pedestrians can be more visible at night.

There will be two grand prize drawings – $250 gift card courtesy of KTA Super Stores & $200 gift card courtesy of Walgreens.

Other activities at the Wellness Fair include:

  • Free document shredding for up to two bankers boxes per person courtesy of Access
  • Senior IDs by County of Hawaii
  • Zumba Gold fitness demonstration

The First Hawaiian Bank Big Island PrimeTime Wellness Fair is co-sponsored by the County of Hawaii Elderly Activities Division and Clinical Laboratories of Hawaii, LLP. For more information, call Elderly Recreation Services at (808) 966-5801.

The bank’s PrimeTime banking program is designed for customers age 50 or better who maintain a personal checking account with First Hawaiian Bank. PrimeTime members receive value-packed banking services, exclusive invitations to special events, and discounts from local merchants.
