Hawaiian Airlines to waive change fees due to Tropical Storm Darby

Guests are advised to check www.HawaiianAirlines.com for the latest updates on scheduled flights.

Effective immediately, guests holding tickets for travel to/from/via any point in Hawaii on Hawaiian Airlines flights between July 22, 2016, through July 25, 2016, will be permitted a one-time reservation change with waiver of change fee provided that:

  • Ticket was issued on/before July 22, 2016
  • Affected flight(s) is/are originally scheduled for travel between July 22, 2106 and July 25, 2016
  • Change must be ticketed for new flights on/before July 28, 2016
  • Agent assist fees for changes to travel agency tickets will be waived

In addition, for changes made to new flights any resulting difference in fare(s) will be waived provided that change is made to same compartment (i.e. Coach to Coach or First/Business Class to First/Business Class) and there is no change in origin and destination.

Normal refund rules will apply. There will be no waiver of any applicable cancellation fees for refundable tickets and no refunds permitted on non-refundable tickets related to this event.

All changes must be made by calling our Reservations Department at 1-800-367-5320.

Island Air to waive change fees during Tropical Storm Darby

HONOLULU — Island Air will waive reservation change fees and differences in fares for customers needing to change their travel plans due to Tropical Storm Darby.

Effective immediately, customers ticketed for travel on Island Air now through July 25, 2016 will be permitted to change their reservations without charge to ticketed flights through August 1, 2016.

Changes must be made prior to the original departure date and ticketed on or before July 25, 2016.

Changes must be made by Island Air personnel through the reservations department, or at the airport. Normal refund rules will apply.
Customers needing assistance should call Island Air’s reservations desk at 1-800-388-1105 or 808-840-2444.

Passengers with reservations are advised to check Island Air’s website at www.islandair.com or call the reservations desk to check on the status of scheduled flights prior to arriving at the airport.

American Airlines waives change fee due to Tropical Storm Darby

Airports affected:

  • Honolulu, HI (HNL)
  • Kona, HI (KOA)
  • Lihue, HI (LIH)
  • Maui Kahului, HI (OGG)

A one-time ticketing fee will be waived for travel changes if you:

  • Are traveling on an American Airlines operated flight
  • Purchased your original ticket by July 20, 2016
  • Are scheduled to travel July 22 – 25, 2016 to/through/from the affected airports
  • Are flexible to travel July 21 – 27, 2016

You may be able to change your trip online if it was booked on aa.com or with American Airlines Reservations and you’re traveling within the U.S., Puerto Rico or U.S. Virgin Islands.

Look for the ‘change trip’ button to see if your trip is eligible. If not, please call to change your trip.

Delta Airlines waives change fee due to Tropical Storm Darby

If your flight is canceled or significantly delayed, you are entitled to a refund. Even if your flight is not canceled, you may make a one-time change to your ticket without fee if you are scheduled to travel to, from, or through the following destination(s) on Delta, Delta Connection®, or Delta-coded flights during the specified time periods listed see website.

United Airlines waives change fee during Tropical Storm Darby

For United Airlines customers flying in Hawaii July 22-25, 2016.

The change fee and any difference in fare will be waived for new flights departing on or before July 28, 2016, as long as travel is rescheduled in the same cabin (any fare class) and between the same cities as originally ticketed.
