The Hawai’i Police department reports that Hualalai road is now open, it was previously closed due to a brush fire.

The Hawaii Police Department reports the closure of Hualalai Road from Kuakini Highway to Aloha Kona Drive due to brush fire. Motorists are asked to avoid this location and take alternate route.
