Police have located a Keaau man who was reported missing

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 66-year-old Keaʻau man who was reported missing.

Nicholas Riley Beal was last seen on 34th Avenue in the Orchidland subdivision at 5 a.m. Tuesday (December 22). He has a medical condition that requires medication and may be disoriented.

He is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-9, 175-185 pounds with blue eyes, balding gray hair and a mustache. He was last seen wearing a red long-sleeved shirt and black shorts.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 66-year-old Nicholas Riley Beal of Keaʻau, who was reported missing.

He was located Tuesday morning (December 22) in Keaʻau, several miles from where he had last been seen.
