Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for a 16-year-old Kailua-Kona girl who was reported missing.

Shania Menino was last seen in Hilo on November 29.

She is described as 5-feet tall, 130 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300. Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.

    I’m almost positive I seen this girl & a local boy around the same age in Kamuela longs today around 4:30-4:45pm. She didn’t look in trouble or anything, she was actually smiling. But I’m not 100% sure that was her.
