Police locate one of two men in connection with a robbery

Hawaiʻi Island police have located one of two men who were wanted for questioning in connection with a robbery in Pāpaʻikou on December 1.

Thirty-one-year-old Jeffery K. Estabillio Jr. turned himself in to police Thursday (December 10) and was charged Friday (December 11) with second-degree robbery. His bail was set at $5,000. He remains at the Hilo police cellblock pending his initial court appearance scheduled for Monday (December 14).

Police are still looking for 25-year-old Mason T. Fiesta. He is described as a local male, approximately 5-foot-8, 160 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. His last known address was in Honomū. He is also wanted on two outstanding warrants for violating probation.

Police ask anyone with any information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Dean Uyetake at 961-2379 or dean.uyetake@hawaiicounty.gov
