POHAKULOA TRAINING AREA, Hawaii – Army officials invite the public to provide input regarding hunting, here, through a brief online survey.
The survey is geared toward the hunting community and asks questions regarding their use of Pohakuloa Training Area. The survey also asks for feedback on proposed initiatives to update the PTA hunting program, such as an online hunter registration system.
“We’re looking at different initiatives to modernize the program, and we want the hunting community to be a part of this effort,” said John Polhemus, game manager, U.S. Army Garrison-Pohakuloa.
The survey is part of current efforts to revise the PTA hunting program’s administrative rules and access policy, according to Polhemus. Community can complete the survey online at http://ptahuntingsurvey.com/ through August 21, 2015. It takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete.
