Police are investigating three thefts from Kapaau nursery

Hawaiʻi Island police are investigating three thefts within a week at a nursery in Kapaʻau.

Sometime between July 5 and July 7, $100 worth of potted plants were removed from a bamboo nursery on Pratt Road. Between the evening of July 10 and the morning of July 11, $500 worth of potted plants were removed. Between the evening of July 11 and the morning of July 12, $2,456 worth of potted plants were removed.

Police ask anyone with information about these thefts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300. All Crime Stoppers information is kept confidential.
