Police are searching for a Hilo man wanted on warrants

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 41-year-old Hilo man wanted on three bench warrants.

Christian E. Alameda is wanted on two bench warrants for contempt of court and one for failure to appear in court. Police also want to question him in connection with an arson investigation.

He is described as 5-foot-6, 170 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311 or contact Detective Norbert Serrao at 961-2383 or norbert.serrao@hawaiicounty.go….

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
