Solimene’s Italian Restaurant open at King’s Shops

MEDIA RELEASE

Kings’ Shops has announced Solimene’s Italian Restaurant is open through March 2015 as a surprise addition to the center.

It is located across from The Three Fat Pigs Restaurant.

This is the same Solimene’s Italian Restaurant that was owned and operated by the Aiona family of Waimea.

“Solimenes had a loyal local following in Waimea. Diners will be able to experience this fine dining establishment, while taking in all of the new and exciting changes here at Kings’ Shops,” said Steve Schwartz, General Manager of Kings’ Shops.

Robin Aiona, mother of Chef Ippy Aiona is bringing her original delectable recipes to the Kings’ Shops.

“I call it comfort food; New York style Italian cuisine,” Aiona said. “We will have personal size pizzas, calzoni and pastas all made with homemade ingredients.”

The location for the restaurant is perfect and has a Tuscan feel with a lanai for outdoor, cafe style dining. The addition of Solimene’s to restaurant lineup is sure to delight foodies from near and far with their use of the freshest local ingredients paired with an exceptional selection of wines as well as superb after dinner drinks and Espresso bar.

Solimene’s Italian Restaurant is open 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily through the end of March 2015.
