At 1:05 p.m. Thursday, Cline was arrested at a home in Mountain View, where police located additional stolen vehicles. He was taken to the Hilo police cellblock while detectives from the Area I Criminal Investigations Section continued the investigation.

At 4 p.m. Friday, Cline was charged with three counts of first-degree terroristic threatening, three counts of criminal property damage, three counts of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle and one count each of resisting an order to stop, resisting arrest and ownership prohibited for possessing ammunition. His bail was set at $99,000.
