Police locate man wanted for reckless driving and abuse of family member

Hawaiʻi Island police have located 21-year-old Isaac Rosa of Mountain View, who was wanted for reckless driving and abuse of a family/household member.

Rosa turned him self in at the South Hilo police station Monday (January 5) and was later charged with abuse of a family/household member, interfering with reporting of an emergency, criminal property damage, reckless driving and driving without a license.

He was released Tuesday (January 6) after posting $2,500 bail.

Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 21-year old man who is wanted for reckless driving and abuse of a family/household member.

Isaac Rosa is also wanted for questioning in connection with other criminal investigations. He is described as 5-foot-2, 110 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair.

He is believed to be living in the Puna District, and he frequents the Hilo area. He was last seen operating an older model white Toyota Tercel.

Police ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to call the Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
