Hilo Bay canoe parking lot entrance to detour Monday (Aug 25)

DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS MEDIA RELEASE

On Monday (Aug 25) the entrance to the canoe parking lot in Hilo from Kamehameha Avenue will close one day to install electrical lines. Park users may enter through Hawaii Belt Road near Wailoa Bridge or at Bayfront Highway. The detour through Hilo Bayfront Beach Park to Bayfront Highway will be open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
