Average gas prices in Hawaii rise 1.3 cents per gallon the past week

Average retail gasoline prices in Hawaii have risen 1.3 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $4.35/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 355 gas outlets in Hawaii. This compares with the national average that has fallen 4.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.51/g, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.

Police search for four wanted for credit card fraud

Hawaiʻi Island police are searching for three men and a woman who are wanted for fraudulent use of a credit card. The card was stolen Wednesday (July 23) from a car on Kuakini Highway and then used at a Kailua-Kona business three times.
