Bayfront Highway will close tonight (July 10) between the hours of 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Nighttime construction work will begin at Kamehameha Avenue and Pauahi Street intersection, weather permitting. The night work schedule is Monday-Friday to July 25.
Bayfront Highway at Pauahi St. intersection will close during nighttime construction.
Motorists traveling to HÄmÄkua should use WaiÄnuenue Avenue to enter Hawai‘i Belt Rd. Hilo-bound motorists on Hawai‘i Belt Rd. must turn right at WaiÄnuenue Ave intersection.
Shoreline access will be provided from WaiÄnuenue Ave and Hawai‘i Belt Rd intersection.
