Hawaii Community College to offer Certified Nurses’ Aides course

HILO — Hawai‘i Community College (Hawai‘i CC) is pleased to announce it is offering an 8-credit Nurses’ Aide Course this fall that prepares students to become Certified Nurses’ Aides (CNA).

After successfully completing the course, students are prepared to take the OBRA exam that allows them to be a CNA.

The deadline to apply for the course is July 15, 2014. Enrollment is limited to the first 10 qualified students.

The class runs from Aug. 25 — Dec. 19 in Hilo with classroom days on Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and laboratory and clinical days on Tuesday and Wednesday from 7 a.m. — 1 p.m.
