Mauna Kea Beach Hotel presents the 3rd Annual Big Island Jazz & Blues Festival on June 6-8.

Music legends, Grammy award-winning artists, and Na Hoku Hanohano award-winning Hawaii musicians join together for a dynamic celebration of jazz.

Weekend of events schedule:

* Friday, June 6
6-9 p.m.

VIP Meet and Hear at Kaunaoa Bar & Grill. Guests have the chance to experience live music in an intimate setting, and meet and chat with headliners. Cover charge is $40 and includes pupus.

* Saturday, June 7
5-9 p.m.

The main event: Big Island Jazz & Blues Festival under the stars at the North Pointe Luau Grounds. Featured musicians include Grammy winner Skip Martin, The Iguanas from New Orleans, Jazz Saxophone legend Donald Harrison, American Jazz Ambassador Jason Marsalis, the best Harmonica player there is in New Orleans, Johnny Sansone, Saturday Night Live Band Trombonist Steve Turre, and Na Hoku Hanohano winner Benny Uyetake. Cost is $60 for general admission and $85 for premium VIP seating.

* Sunday, June 8
11:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Sunday Jazz Brunch at Manta & Pavilion Wine Bar with live jazz and blues entertainment all morning long.
