Chua joins Maryl as director of special projects

Maryl Group Construction Inc. announces the addition of Raymund Chua, LEED AP, CQM as Director of Special Projects spearheading projects in the field of tenant improvements and renovations of retail and office, hospitality, and new construction.

“We are extremely pleased that Raymund Chua is joining the Maryl team,” said Mark Kong, Maryl President. “Raymund’s experience with project management, project controls, subcontractors and vendors, and architects and construction manager will help fulfill Maryl’s commitment that each client’s vision is transformed into a successful project that is on schedule and within budget.”

Chua brings to Maryl more than two decades of construction experience as a project manager.

Chua¹s previous projects include Forever 21 Flagship Store (Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center), Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom renovation, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch offices, Hilton Hawaiian Village Rainbow Tower Room and Suite renovations, Princeville Hotel, Hilton Grand Vacations Waikoloa and Kalia, Hilton Hawaiian Village Kalia Tower and Marriott Ko Olina.

Chua holds degrees in B.S. Architecture from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Architecture from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.

His professional registrations include Registered Professional Architect, LEED AP, OSHA 30 trained, CQM (Quality Control), Hawaii GCA and proficiency in Autocad, Suretrak Scheduling and Microsoft Project.
