Isemoto Contracting Co. Ltd will work an additional two hours on weekdays, until 5:30 PM to complete installation of seven dry wells in Kona. Three dry wells are done.

The proposed dry wells are on the lower half of La‘aloa Avenue from Ho‘olaupa‘i Street to the Ali‘i Drive intersection. Dry well installations will also take place on Ali‘i Drive.

The extended hours are now in effect and will continue through April 30, 2014. The revised work hours are 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM weekdays, excluding holidays.

Motorists can expect one-lane closures between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM, to install dry wells on Ali‘i Drive at the La‘aloa Avenue intersection. This is tentatively scheduled for next week. No lane closures planned on La‘aloa Avenue between Ho‘olaupa‘i Street to the Ali‘i Drive intersection

La‘aloa Avenue, Phase 2, is on schedule. The project began in late January with completion this summer.
