MEDIA RELEASE

Pōhakuloa Training Area, Hawaii – Military convoys will deploy from Pōhakuloa Training Area (PTA) to Kawaihae Pier (K-Pier) on March. 19 – 24, 2014 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Roadways affected by the convoys are Daniel K. Inouye Hwy (Saddle Road), Mamalahoa Hwy, Akoni Pule Corridor, Queen Kaahumanu Hwy, and Waikoloa Rd.
These convoy units will have Military Police (MP) escorts.

Motorists are advised to be alert and drive with care. The Department of Army Police from PTA is working closely with local authorities and military units to coordinate this activity in support of unit training and readiness.
