Khaila Moke-Sakamoto says:

“This event is my senior project for our Native Hawaiian community with its vision of promoting the importance of education to our upcoming generations and their families in a fun and healthy environment.

All the proceeds from this event will benefit the Ke Alii Pauahi Foundation who generously gives to educate our Native Hawaiians.

This event is also an opportunity for all members of our community who have benefited in any way from the legacy of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, to come together and give back to help continue her legacy.

To create my legacy, I have established a new scholarship through the foundation titled, ‘KS Hawaii NHS Scholarship.’ All of the money generated from this year’s Walk will go into this scholarship’s fund.

Each person attending the walk must bring a completed registration form along with his or her entrance fee for the event.

Anyone and everyone is welcomed, thus, please encourage your family and friends to attend!”
