Starting Sunday, March 2, the Highway Maintenance division of the Department of Public Works will adjust the manhole covers located on KÄ«lauea Avenue.
The manhole covers will be adjusted to the same level with the road.
The crew will be working in the makai (Eastern) lane of KÄ«lauea Avenue at the KÄwili to LanikÄula, and LanikÄula to Lanihuli intersections.
To minimize traffic disruption to motorists, the Highway Maintenance crew will be working on March 2, 9, & 16, from 7 a.m. to noon, weather permitting. The area around the manhole covers will be coned off. No lane closures are anticipated.
