A Puna man died Wednesday (February 19) after a tractor he was operating fell off a cliff and into a stream. He has been identified as 25-year-old Jose Luiz Hernandez-Miranda of Keaʻau. Average retail gasoline prices in Hawaii have risen 0.5 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $4.02/g yesterday, according to GasBuddy’s daily survey of 355 gas outlets in Hawaii. This compares with the national average that has increased 5.0 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.34/g, according to gasoline price website GasBuddy.com.
