Kona burglaries, thefts (Nov. 1-7)

Kona Community Policing staff compile a weekly listing of burglaries and thefts in the West Hawaii community. This update covers Nov. 1-7.

BURGLARIES

No burglaries reported this week.

UCPV (STOLEN VEHICLE)

No stolen vehicles reported this week.

UEMV (THEFT FROM VEHICLE)

On Nov. 2, a reported UEMV on the north side of Kakahiaka Street, vehicle HKV375 entered. Fanny pack and medication taken.

On Nov. 2, a reported UEMV at the Kealakekua Plaza parking lot, vehicle PAH21 entered. Unspecified items taken.

On Nov. 3, a reported UEMV in the Costco parking lot, vehicle HJK672 entered. Toshiba laptop taken.

THEFT

On Nov. 4, a reported theft in the 5500 block of Kauhola Street. Approximately 5 gallons of gas siphoned from vehicle.

On Nov. 7, a reported theft at the Spirit Gas Station in Captain Cook. Victim forgot his bag and when he returned for it some personal items were missing.
