The football season came to close over the weekend for BIIF teams.

The two teams in the state championship were knocked out in the first round.

On Friday at Keaau High School, No 3 seed Hilo succumbed to unranked Campbell, 42-27.

On Saturday at Kaiser High School, unranked Konawaena was thrashed by No. 4 seed Kaiser, 59-6.
